TOURIST arrivals in Cyprus increased 5.1 per cent year-on-year in the first two months of the year, the island's statistics department said yesterday.
Total arrivals in January and February reached 70,140.
But arrivals from Britain, the island's largest tourist market, declined 4.2 per cent year-on-year. Visitors from Russia, Greece and Germany, the second, third and fourth largest markets, grew 15.4, 20.6 and 24.6 per cent respectively.
